Adults only and lawful use
The store and its age-restricted products are intended only for people aged 18 or older. By entering the store or ordering an age-restricted product, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. We may request reasonable proof of age and refuse or cancel an order where eligibility cannot be established.
Products must be used lawfully and in accordance with warnings and manufacturer instructions. Product images are illustrative. Colour, packaging, and minor details may differ, but the product supplied must materially match its description and comply with applicable consumer law.
Orders, availability, and pricing
Products, prices, stock status, delivery charges, taxes, and other applicable costs are shown before you place an order. Prices are displayed in South African rand unless stated otherwise. You can review the basket, correct mistakes, or leave checkout before placing the order.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance. The agreement is concluded when we accept the order by confirming fulfilment or dispatch, unless the checkout states otherwise.
Stock and pricing errors may occur. If an ordered item is unavailable or a material error is discovered, we will contact you promptly. You may accept a reasonable alternative where offered or cancel for a refund of amounts paid for the affected item. We will not substitute goods without your agreement.
Payment and transaction records
Available payment methods appear at checkout. Payment may be processed by an independent payment provider under its own terms. An order may be held until payment is authorised or received. We take reasonable steps to use payment processes appropriate to the transaction.
Your order confirmation and account order history, where available, form part of the electronic transaction record. Download or retain the confirmation and these terms for your records.
Delivery
Delivery areas, methods, estimates, and charges are presented on the website or during checkout. You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and a reachable contact number. Risk passes as provided by applicable law when the goods are delivered to you or a person authorised to receive them.
We aim to deliver within the estimate shown or otherwise agreed. Under ECTA, an order must be executed within 30 days unless a different period was agreed. If we fail to perform within that period, you may exercise the cancellation rights available under ECTA. If goods become unavailable, we will notify you and refund amounts due within the period required by law.
Inspect the parcel on delivery where reasonably possible. Report missing, damaged, or incorrect goods promptly with the order number and relevant evidence. A delayed report does not remove a statutory right.
Cancellation, cooling-off, and returns
Seven-day online cooling-off right
Where ECTA section 44 applies, a consumer may cancel an online purchase of goods without reason or penalty within seven days after receiving the goods. The consumer may be responsible only for the direct cost of returning them. A refund is due within 30 days of cancellation, subject to the Act.
CPA return rights
The CPA also provides return rights in specific circumstances, including incorrect, mixed, unsuitable, unsafe, or defective goods. Timing, return costs, and permitted deductions depend on the legal reason for the return.
Cooling-off rights may not apply to excluded goods, including certain personalised goods, goods that by their nature cannot be returned, goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or goods that cannot lawfully be returned for public-health reasons. Opened consumables may therefore be non-returnable unless unsafe, defective, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise returnable by law.
Start a cancellation or return through our contact page. Include the order number, reason, and photographs where relevant. Do not dispose of goods until we provide return instructions. Our separate Returns Policy may explain the process in more detail but cannot reduce statutory rights.
Quality, safety, and warranties
Consumers have the right to receive goods that are reasonably suitable for their usual purpose, of good quality, in working order, free of defects, and durable for a reasonable time, subject to the CPA.
Six-month statutory warranty
If goods fail to meet the CPA’s quality standards within six months after delivery, a consumer may return them without penalty and at the supplier’s risk and expense and direct the supplier to repair or replace the goods, or refund the price, subject to the Act.
This statutory warranty does not cover damage caused after supply by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised alteration, failure to follow instructions, or ordinary wear and tear. Any manufacturer warranty is additional and does not replace rights under the CPA.
Website availability and liability
We take reasonable steps to keep product information and the website accurate and available. Temporary interruptions, maintenance, or events outside reasonable control may occur. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was made.
No exclusion or limitation in these terms applies to fraud, gross negligence, unsafe or defective goods, failure to use an adequately secure payment system, or any liability or consumer remedy that South African law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
Complaints, disputes, and governing law
Contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. Use our contact page or email [email protected] . Include your order number, the issue, and the outcome you seek.
If the complaint remains unresolved, a consumer may approach an applicable provincial consumer protection authority, the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, or the National Consumer Commission, where that body has jurisdiction.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute may be brought before a court, tribunal, ombud, commission, or other forum with jurisdiction. If part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future use of the website and future orders. The version applying to an accepted order is the version made available when that order was placed, unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.
